Several layers of this fibrous web are put together to form a wad.
After this several wads are put together before needling.

The wad layers are needled together to a needled felt, which passes through the machine several times,
until the felt has the right thickness and other qualities.

With moulding, felt, plastic, leather, rubber etc can be joined together to make end products in any shape,
for fittings and damping, for example. Moulding of larger products requires a large machine.
The press dimensions for this are 2.5 x 3.5 m, with a largest clear opening of 1.5 m.
