By mixing a suitable proportion of meltable fibres into needled felt, the material can then be moulded into practically any shape at all. Naturally, thickness, colour and surface structure can be freely varied. Thanks to our unique production equipment we can give the material unique qualities and even manufacture needled felt with different colours on the front and back.

Today we have two highly-efficient production lines for moulded felt – complete with heating furnaces, presses and automatic robots for water jet cutting. We design using our own CAD equipment.

For special purposes, Nordifa’s needled felt can also be laminated with fabric, metal foils, plastic, foam and rubber and moulded into any shape.
